    FYI, you should only handle coins by their edges.
    Your skin should not touch the faces of the coin.
    You should also place them on a flat surface for photos.

    Yeah, a lot of people have already handled it over the last hundred years -- but it's still possible to damage it further, especially if you've got the wrong thing on your fingers. "Wrong things" include sweat. Best to get in the habit of handling coins by their edges, even if they're well-worn.

    I agree with @longshot -- this might be one of the nicer ones in a "V-Nickels $1 each" bin at a show, but not nice enough to get a higher value.

    Certainly not a spender in any case!
