Those aren't pictures, they are still artists drawings. I suspect it may be denomination related. You will notice the cost of the half dollars is exactly half the cost of the one dollar coins Absolutely correct, and if they don't have the prices high enough to cover the costs, they will simply take the surcharge money away for the groups/organizations that the coins are supposed to provided fundraising for. (Ask the Girl Scouts about that.) Fortunately this program may actually be popular enough to have a sell out. At least for the gold coin, MAYBE for the puck. (As for the gold only 5 of the 21 $5 gold coins since 1995 sold 50K coins and only one was a sell out, the 2014 Baseball which had the lowest authorized mintage in the whole series, 50K.)
for your leisure while you are waiting for the Release date to come. You can play a nice space resupply game from the US Mint https://www.usmint.gov/learn/kids/g..._mmca1=Campaign&cm_mmca2=All&cm_mmca3=January
So they're really waiting till the last second to release the price for the $5 golds. Really hoping gold goes up a bit so they can charge more, eh?
Joke's on me I guess, they post the prices 15 minutes after I say this. $5, 408.75, 50,000, 1 $5 Proof, 418.75, 50,000, 1
Starting to see offers to buy the 5oz saucer once it comes out. Very well might sell out at this point. I’m all in on the Half Set still.
The site was a bit sluggish right at noon, but I had pre-logged in and bookmarked each product page, so I was able to complete my checkout by 12:05pm....
Let's hope it's more like Apollo 11, than Apollo 1. I noticed they switched over to Google Pay to process CCs
the 5oz puck is now on backorder. I don't understand why as I only ordered 75,000 of them LOL .. j/k but everything else is still available
Didn't someone here say they were having a hard time getting the 5oz puck blanks? Would the blanks be pre-curved, or would that be part of the minting process?
It would be nice if the site had an “Item Left” counter. It would also be nice if the place order button worked.
