    9 is missing because the Die had compacted grease on the 9.
    Nothing major and only worth 1 Cent

    First, welcome to the neighborhood, Bill!

    You must have discovered that when you start a new thread the "Poll" option leaves a lot to be desired. Anyone who makes the mistake of clicking on it, cannot delete it. They must finish the poll before they can post their thread. FWIW, I voted for both polls!

    Also, I'd like to suggest that before posting photos (like the one of your Lincoln cent) you should crop out all of the unnecessary background and then resize the image.
