I got a pair of 1995 $1 bills sometime in the last few days. Strangely both of the bills look like someone cut them out with a scissors. I am assuming that these were part of an uncut sheet someone got, but just wanted to check if they were errors or worth anything. Thanks.

supplying serial numbers would help in determining if they come from uncut sheets or not

or look up the serials at www.uspapermoney.info if the serials you have are outside the ranges of the provided serials on that site, then it would prolly be sheets.

the site says this: Serial numbers above 96000000, or ending with letters O or Z, are not used on the 1995 series. I am not sure if that means at all or not for circulation. normaly serials above the normal range are used for collector sheets.

    good luck!

Sounds like sheets then. Just checked the numbers. One is K99749205B and the other is K99949205B. I assume they aren't worth anything extra then?

    Thanks.

If it makes you feel any better, here's a handcut $2 bill I just found in a Federal Reserve Strap today.

Who the heck cuts up a sheet of notes to spend at face value??!?!?!?

i'd keep them just becuase it a high serial number and you don't normally find uncut sheet bills in circulation.

people who steal them out of their parents'/grandparents' collection. basically people who have no idea nor do they care about the value of such things.
