Yes, you are seeing things that are not there, so stop doing so. The next idiotic comment from anyone will draw more attention than one might like, so can them , and GriffonK stay in your pram as it appears you are trying to initiate trash. Jim
Seeing things that are not there..? Funnily enough Jim I just found this variety/error published.. so the two features which i.d this variety which are clearly visible are not part of the imagination... So Jim, if you do not know what you are talking about is it worth chipping in from a biased stance? Considering my only initial stipulation from young Chris was to make corrigible comments am I such a bad guy. Look through past posts to see how beginners get ravaged for similar issues. I was to the point granted. (Sorry if I hurt your feelings Chris) talk sense lad.. less of the 2b lol etc. Chris lowered the tone by getting personal and insulting. My point is people here jump to conclusions quickly become insulting and overlook information. Is it a lot to expect in a public forum a minimum effort regarding communication? The word drivel is a descriptive observation of young Christophers writing habbits nothing more. I have read much worse on here.
So I ask you nicely then.. Why don't you just tell us from the very beginning of your thread what it is? And just put a normal title that makes more sense? We want to talk coins and you are talking about stuff that makes no sense! I/we are here to try to learn, understand, teach and enjoy this hobby.. let's just keep it simple.. is that to hard to ask?
Jim is telling me I am not seeing the published error I have and taking a biased stance as moderator. Pushing what?
A quick exit, It's your informed notice. No one has a clue what your are referring to. I would rethink your position as a member.
This is confirmation of what I am seeing is not my imagination. The rest stemmed from members getting personal. If you read through its quite clear. However the gang sticks together.
I purposely leave information out of the post to reduce the chance of being ridiculed publicly. If you come in all guns blazing you get shot down firmly. If you leave information out you are penalized for it. Members then report you. Then the moderator comes along and takes a biased stance...? And make unfounded claims. Sorry guys but I feel the atmosphere is not ideal for a public forum. I feel these type of posts are all to often. Experts in the field of coin collecting i dont think earn the right to be outright rude in exchange for responding to threads. Nobody makes you comment. So why act all hard done by..? Its funny the butthurt member was so easily fired up yet. Often this member is one of the first to dish it out. My input on this is; if you cannot be humble or it annoys you that badly why even get involved and comment in the first place.
In your first post you indicated that you might have seen something, so the idea that you had no suspicion or inkling of what you were writing about is not persuading me. You could have easily drawn a red circle round it then, but were just being trollish. I have read the whole thing. I hope I made it clear that if members are trying to help you, give them all of the information at the beginning. As for me, I am moderated by the administrators, so report me if you wish. If you wish to be treated as a knowledgeable collector or a dedicated learner, try posting as one. Perhaps the foreign coin forum is the better place to show this coin with a die scratch and gouge. Please understand threads like these are not appreciated by anyone, unless maybe the originator. I have to get involved or i would not have even answered this ....thread, and now that I am, I wish it to stop the bickering ( all ). Jim
Jim thanks, You are entitled your opinion. Appreciate the input. I suppose it is your word against mine in terms of your trolling alegations that is fine. I think members here are way too quick to jump on the troll band wagon. And it is damaging this space day by day. My advice to members who suspect they are/have fallen victim to a troll, please please simply ignore the post. Why even reply? let's keep this space respectful and sociable. For your information this forum has provided me with A LOT of help. I am learning. I try to make my best effort to post acceptable content whilst minimizing the risk of being scalded or simply made to feel not welcome. I think as a public forum all members have a duty to " try" to be neutral and humble. Or as a bare bare minimum ignore what you think is trolling activity. You think I want to spend my saturday chatting this breeze? I have said my bit. I have accepted your input. Far as I'm concerned that's it.
Very good, I am sure you will learn a great deal. Every word, erasure, deleting, editing , etc by everyone, including me , you and all members.... is stored for the admins by the program, so if they find a thread such as this they may correct me or you, or anyone else if they see a need, If you or anyone tries to help new members many, many times a day , every day they are on ( and the general members are the benefactors of their presence and work) you would understand why some threads get under their skin with the insistence that they should know everything about a person's special coin. I do not feel they damage this forum, but they make it sound information in a Youtube world that knows little. Have a good evening, Jim
There is a difference between asking questions and trolling responders so that you could make some kind of point. I am gonna give the benefit of the doubt and say, what it is you are trying to ask about your coin? If you know, then let Us in on what you have learned. This is a two way street around here. When members find cool coins we all join in for the excitement. You have us wrong, And I got to tell ya @cpm9ball is one of the most patient members around, Why did you pick him? I am a little appalled that you think you can just treat everyone trying to help/agree with you with disrespect.
