I have spent a great amount of the past 6 years in children's Mercy with granddaughter, this is one of the first coins I put in a 2 by2. I taped all sides so 6 years in storage. But it's not zink either. Thank you all.

 

I think you can slow down the toning on the coin but you cannot stop it. What you can do is store as best you can to slow the toning down AND take a photo of that bad boy so you can relive it later on! I heard of some prominent people on here doing this.
