    Does any one know is worth anything or heard of this miss cut penny 1965 appears to be punched wrong

    you have a clipped planchet cent. worth money $5-8 dollars. wait for other opinions...

    It may be, but it is hard for me to tell from that photo. It would be better if you cropped out the unnecessary background and then resized the image before posting it. A photo of the reverse might help, too. It's also better if you use the "Full Image" option rather than the "Thumbnail".

    Clipped planchet error. Really nice find :)

    Did you get it in pocket change? It’s probably worth between $3 and $6.

    Yeah got it in change from store I will be posting more coins and do people on here purchase coins if they have interest in them

    It's called a Clipped Planchet.
    In reality it's niether clipped or cut. When the Blanks were being created from the Copper Strip of metal the sheet shifted and the next Blank Planchet that was punched out was too close to the previous hole where the previous Blank was cut from. Got it?

    Worth? $2.00 - $5.00
    I have way too many and I'm not interested in buying it. Your not allowed to sell it on CoinTalk.
