"Recently purchased both P and D, $250.00 mint bags in original mint boxes, of the first thirteen colonies, (first thirteen states of the state quarter program) for re-sale and am haveing trouble priceing these out as there aren't any to be found online to compare to. Production/sales figures would be nice on these bags so I ask again, does anyone have the sales figures for the state quarter $250 mint bags? Any help would be appreciated. bigdcoins"

Thats no help. I am looking for the production/sales figures from the mint as to how many bags are out there. I know most 1999 $250 bags only have apprx., one hundred to two hundred made so they are extremely elusive and have seen them go for appx. $1200.00 ea on ebay so your coin roll prices is way off but thanks anyways. The reason this ties in to the error collector is that most error collectors, (myself included), currently, or at some point in their hobby have purchased mint bags for the hunt. Some collect for the kill, (to have) and some collect for the search (to find). The searchers have bought lots and lots of mint bags. I just have way to much to search and need to unload some which is a first for me.
