Can you explain your objectives here? Do you want a cool looking set or to try and make money in the long run?
Personally I like the set. Not exactly the best flipping opportunity but if you are just after a cool looking set then go for it.
Not looking to flip just like having the special Anniversary sets. Was wondering just how good the set looks?
@ponderossa I like them. Don't go out of your way and pay too high of a premium though. Graded 70 sets can be found on ebay for decent price and raws for close or at issue price. Maybe there is even a cointalk member or two who would part with one of their raw extra's set at cost .
I don't think it's too bad. If you would have bought it new from the mint, it was $29.95 plus shipping of ????? $5? If it's like any of the other mint products, it's likely to go down in price in the future but some of them hold their value and actually increase. I loved the set from the get go and can remember waiting for them to come online. I missed the initial offering due to it supposedly selling out right away and I was able to get in on it the second time the mint opened it back up. I bought 2 sets and they're both setting here for me to enjoy!
Just inspect it well when you get it. I remember stories of people buying up a a bunch of sets to flip, finding obvious flaws in them and sending them back to the mint for a refund. Just make sure someone isn't trying to unload their junk on to you!
