Guess what I paid? 1890 cc Tailbar

This is my new baby that I got from my dealer. This coin along with a 1879 S rev of 78 walked in litterally while I was looking through some of my dealers stock. You will probably never guessed what I paid. This is one my favorite coins in my whole collection!! I thought he would of said atleast $300 dollars.

I belive it was the first one that they made. We looked it up and there it was. He said I'll Sell it to you for 78$ and my jaw dropped to the floor!!!!

 

I don't know VAM pricing but you bought that for Grey Sheet VG. Good job!

 

I believe it is QUITE a bit better that VG. Im guessing VF to XF.

Dealer probably got it for spot. : ) Great deal on the coin, regardless of the VAM. They say being in the right spot at the right time...

This wasn't the best picture of this coin. I took it in a hurry in poor light. Id say it is a really strong VF and could go XF. I wouldn't let it go for under $500. This is one that I have wanted for a while.
