Today I just received the mint state and proof commem bald eagles. Boy, they are nice. Ayone else get theres? The half dollars are on back order.
Very attractive coin. I foresee confusion between this coin and $10 gold coins if both are going to be called eagles.
I was surprised at the 'Eagle' as well, we already have SAE, GAE, PAE ... so now we have another SAE ... I like the 'baldie' tag ~ The halves are cute ... I see this being a huge 'easter' item for YNs
Anyone get the gold baldies yet? If you did, what do you think? All my Baldies on order have been on hold now for over a week. When I got on line, it said all my coins were "in stock and reserved", but the order said it was "on hold" Last night I called the US Mint to inquire about the hold status. The young lady informed me that it is normal for the mint to place orders on hold for 7-10 business days to confirm payment status, but conceded that these were on hold for longer than usual. She said it was probably due to all the changes going on at the mint. She was going to tell her superior and ask them to remove the hold status. Maybe they will be sent out next week. hya:
Hello everyone, Well if I wasn't impatient before I sure am now...lol. I just checked on my order and it says In Process. Soon I will have mine hopefully by the end of next week. The silver and gold are some nice coins, not very excited about the clad, but bought them anyway. Sadly I couldn't afford the gold ones, yet. Oh well some day, still excited about the silver and clad. I bought both the Proof and Unc for both. Congrats for those of you who have yours. i am just going to hound the postman until mine arrive Regards, S
