I have a $10 from my sister for when she worked as a teller in a bank. Mine is on the Madison Bank in KY.

Was your dad from Texas ?

Hopefully these notes you’ve been posting reside in currency sleeves.

The nationals are a cool to collect, had a couple back in the day
What makes them so neat is the fact that some come from
Super small cities, i have found the more obscure the city
    The higher the value !!

This isn't a National Bank note. It's a FRBN - Federal Reserve Bank Note. It was an emergency issue during the depression, and the needed something to differantiate them from Fedral Reserve notes.
The $5 Dallas may be a good one, but the condition might hurt it. Nice note, and something I collect.

I beg your pardon, it is a small-size National banknote Type II, Charter # 12186. Both series look very similar.

You are right. I looked at it quickly and just saw 1929 and Dallas. Thanks for pointing that out.
