    That refers to MAKING counterfeits, not holding or possessing them.

    They were illegal for Henning to make, they are not illegal for you to own.

    You don't have to. The Henning nickels were made before 1973 so the hobby Protection Act and the requirement for being marked COPY does not apply to them.

    thanks folks I feel better about Owning my "coin" but I'll always call it a copy and tell the story as it was told to me (even if it's a lie) lol
