    The first ones up top are pretty easy. These are a bit more obscure...

    Sándor Petőfi (1823 - 1849) was a Hungarian poet and liberal revolutionary. He is considered Hungary's national poet.

    Mihai Eminescu (1850 – 1889) was a Romantic poet, novelist and journalist, generally regarded as the most famous and influential Romanian poet.

    Anton Hansen Tammsaare (1878 – 1940), was an Estonian writer whose pentalogy Truth and Justice (Tõde ja õigus; 1926–1933) is considered one of the major works of Estonian literature and "The Estonian Novel".

    It was soon pointed out that the quote, "I declare after all there is no enjoyment like reading!" (next to Ten Pounds at the bottom) is ironic. Elizabeth Bennett did not say it. It was said by the crass and shallow Caroline Bingley who was not a reader. She was sidling up to Mr. Darcy who was.
