So i bought this roll of 1911 pennies and was going through them and noticed that the 11 in 1911 looked a little funny and was wondering if they could be worn 1922 pennies if anyone can tell me how i could identify them, i also found this quarter that looked really funny so i looked and found the 1941 date on it. Can anyone help me with any information on what it could be. After the word America you can see the date 1941. 20190106_103134.jpg 20190106_103049.jpg

Your quarter is just a worn 1993 quarter. Your pics are to blurry to see anything on the reverse. Take photos from up above, not on an angle.

Your cent looks like a well used 1911 cent.

    Welcome.

All circulated. Just worn. How can a worn 1922 cent look like a worn 1911 cent?

I wondered the same thing. My eyes are bad and all but just wondering.

Obviously they're not that bad. I had to read that 3 times and it still doesn't make sense to me. lol

Well that's good to know! I can still see. That's always helpful. :)

someone who just "wants" their 1911 to be a 1922 D with no Mint Mark due to "striking it rich with pocket change".

I find myself in that category on occasion. Still, haven't gotten my 1's to look like 2's yet though.

you have to learn to be totally UNBIASED upon inspecting your coins.

    oh yeah, I forgot ...
They have 1922 on them. Not 1911.

FYI .. 1922's - notice the No D MM prices

In all the years and thousands (and I do mean thousands)of rolls that I've searched through I've NEVER run across a 1922, weak or otherwise. I almost bought an AG the other day just to rid myself of the urge to find one.
