Hi y'all I'm brand new to the site so I appreciate anybody's feedback, I'm also brand new to coin collecting but found it to be my passion but I am illiterate so please bear with. This coin weighs 2.3 to 2.4 G its mangled I mean it's crazy looking I would just like somebody's opinion

    Hello,
Welcome to cointalk. Unfortunately your Cent is complete damage. It has Circulation wear and tear, Environmental Damage and some corrosion. It is not a double denomination nor a Mint Error.

Thanx so much for the info. I figured that...lol....why would it weigh a gram less?

The rim looks like it was worn down. That could make it lighter. It also could of started of as a Thinner Planchet. All coins have a +/- variance for their weight.

Awesome!! Anso absolute pleasure to meet you. Heck I know I can learn a whole bunch from you. And I guess I got to apologize for even the post I put there and that picture I feel pretty stupid. But I am a beginner and I guess everybody starts somewhere I just found it weird that it weighed a gram less than it should. So any kind of advice or thoughts I'd certainly appreciate it thank you and have a great day
