Thank you very much :) It's still one of my absolute favorites in the collection to date, I really like the overall design, the dies also tend to vary a lot stylistically to the point I'm tempted to purchase another one in the future.

Ave, Michael. Good to have more RR nuts join the fun.

Here is one of my favorite purchases in 2018 which is a very rare hybrid of a common issue, minted in serrate when normally it is not. Likely a transitional coin minted with the new non serrated dies finishing up some serrated flans that were left over.

    C. Hosidius C.f. Geta. Denarius serratus 68, AR (3.76g, 19.4mm, 4h). GETA – III·VIR Draped bust of Diana r., with bow and quiver over shoulder. Rev. Boar r. wounded by spear and attacked by hound; in exergue, C·HOSIDI C F. Babelon Hosidia 1 var. Sydenham 903 var. RBW 1458. Crawford 407/2 note. Typically non serrated for the type.

And what the heck, one more since I haven't posted in a while. This coin I bought, I think, without any prior provanances and have since uncovered quite an interesting journey it made during the 20th Century in order to get to my trays.

    P. Cornelius Lentulus Spinther, 74 BC. Denarius. AR 3.89 g. Bearded, bare head r. of Hercules, behind, Q.S.C. Rev. P. LENT.P.F. - L.N. Genius Populi Romani, nude to waist, seated facing on curule chair, holding scepter in his l. hand, cornucopiae in his r. hand, his r. foot on globe; he is crowned by Victory flying l. Crawford 397/1; Cornelia 58; Sydenham 791.

    YUM! Like that unusual serrate!

    Mine has that "smooth-shave" look:

RR C Hosidius C F Geta 68 BCE Diana bow quiver Boar Hound spear Sear 346 Craw 407-2

Those are some great coins there :) I really like the Cornelia, especially the reverse design. They should have stuck with serrated flans for the Hosidia. Well centered serratii are just gorgeous :)
