Well compared to me, you are very well educated, I just picked up my first ancients a few days ago. I still know more about US coinage, I know that I can learn something from you.

That is the last one on my Fulvia bucket list, I won the superb specimen of the quinarius minted at Lugdunum today over at Naumann :D

Will of course do my own post when it arrives :)

It was stored in a manila envelope for some 60 years prior to me purchasing it, from a collection formed just after WWII :)

I also want to add that I'm new to the UI and likes and replies have been flooding in so I beg for forgiveness in case I miss a post or an answer while learning the basics here. And thanks for all the lovely comments so far. <3

A great set of attractive coins!

I focus on Greeks mostly but collect a little of everything. :)

Now I feel terrible posting this, late 2018 purchase for me as well

I've always loved the type, and it was actually a specimen of the type that made me delve a bit deeper into RRs before I collected them. I'm over the moon with this one as good "small bust" Diana's are almost non existent for this type.

Welcome, Michael! Those are some lovely RRs! The Marsic denarius is outstanding and I just love that Hostilius Saserna with its ghostly doublestruck portrait and unearthly iridescent toning.

    Thank you very much :)

Still feels unreal to own any of them, one was the eBay bargain of the year, the other a 4 month long wait.

My dirtiest of secrets is I collect Mark Antony's Fleet coinage though ;)

Welcome Michael. It is always good to have some interesting RR coins to see. I especially like your Hostilius Saserna. Gallia with carnyx behind and Diana with stag make for a neat coin.
