I started a numismatic blog. The topics will mostly be paper money and scrip. It is intended for a non-numismatic audience so, while most of the topics will be somewhat obscure, they will not be too technical or in-depth.

I hope to post every Friday and on special occasions.

Stop by, read, leave a comment there or here There is no commercial aspect to it and I am doing it solely to highlight whatever I feel like writing about. Feel free to suggest a future topic.

Hm, nice idea! Could also be a way to get younger people in my generation to collect coins as when ever I try to go into technical stuff I always loose them.

Interesting reads, and am looking forward to additional posts.

The blog about War Cents reminded me about the proposed 1974 aluminum penny.

Nice start on your blog! I see that you mentioned Decker, McCollom and Hastings in their crash in Indonesia. The note with the inscription form the 1st glider is pretty dang cool! I read the book Lost in Shangri-La last year. It was quite a fascinating story.
