The real question is .. did the Canadian mint in 1970 mint US Quarters?

Since this was a proof, that meant that it was struck on a Proof machine.
Which are hand fed, especially in 1970, correct?

Thus, we can assume a worker pulled out of their pocket a 1941 Canadian Quarter and hand fed it into the machine, then slid it back into their pocket. Then stored away all their "errors" in their SDB to be found at a later date.

If they looked anything like the 68/69 U.S. dimes minted in Philly, it's easy to see why it was a one shot deal.

physics-fan3.14 You got any more of them.... prooflikes?

Yeeeeeaaaahhhh.... that's not a "mint error." That's a manufactured gizmo made by a mint employee trying to make a buck. I really, really hate the people who made these, I hate the people who "legitimize" these by calling them real errors or coins, and I hate the people who try to sell them. I hate that NGC "certified" it, and I hate that an otherwise respected dealer would sell it. I hate the whole thing.

It's scamming the whole system. We should shun them. Any legitimate error dealer, and any legitimate numismatist, would laugh these jokers and this counterfeit manufactured crap right out of the hobby.
