Kennedy halves hunting

Hello all and Happy New Year, I haven’t had any luck while searching for late date Denver’s
(still missing 2012, 13, 14, 16 & 18!! - fuhgedditabout either 1987’s) but I’ve been lucky finding a 1996-s in my last box. This morning the bank had 8 customer deposited rolls and I found a 1982-s. It’s slow going but I can’t complain.

You know what the problem is, right? Those dates were not released for circulation. Any you find are from broken up rolls for which someone paid extra.

 

I found a lucky roll; these along with some other 90’s uncirculated. The roll was cut lengthwise as if someone was doing a quick check for silvers...

 

Also picked these out of a teller’s drawer.

 

Vince - If you search enough boxes you will find those missing Denver NIFCs. I have recently found several 2018-P & Ds, not to mention many of the prior years.

I heard this but wasn’t positive about the 2012-d not being released for circulation. I didn’t know about the others. Thanks for the info. I’ll keep on searching and enjoying the hunt.

Are you dead set on only finding the missing dates by crh?

 

the 2018 do show up. I just did 2 boxes with a buddy and his box had 24 of them all in great shape.

 

Yes. CRH only. If I can’t find them then that’s the way it goes.
