2019 Moon Landing Coins - FINALLY

This is the design the mint released for the 2019 Apollo 11 coins. All coins will have the same design.

I'm just a little worried that this design will make it look like someone stomped on the coin and dented it...

 

Is it possible that the US Mint could commemorate their own cup-shaped coins on the planned "American Innovation" dollar coins?

Yeah, but it took an act of congress to get the coins in the first place, wouldn't have taken that much more at the time to have made the silver. Lot more difficult after the fact.

 

I like space related stuff but I’m not willing to pay the Mint premiums.

 

This should give us all an idea...

 

Not a huge fan of a curved design on any coins really. Don’t really see the point.

I'm looking forward to the Mint's space set. I've been interested in coins and medals having to do with space for quite some time. I'm sure the four coin set will be " out of this world."

Hooray!! I been waiting for this and have my list prepared. Is it difficult to get into the mint website when they do these releases?
