Based on your pic all I see is a damage coin not a mint error. JMO

The photos are a bit blurry but it still looks like a lamination error to me. Part missing, part attached.

If it's damaged, no but if it is a lamination error, then a slight premium could be applied.

thank you don't mean to be a bother just new at this and I have quite a large collection I just retired and have a lot of time on my hands I have a number of coins with problems just not sure what they all are trying to learn all I can on my on but there is a lot to learn and understand I guess my coolest find while going through thirty years of loose change is a 1944 nickel with no mint mark

A 1944 nickel has the mintmark on the reverse. It's a large letter P, D or S located above the dome. They are 40% silver.

    35% silver. Photo would help.
Counterfeit nickel could be in the $50 range.

The best advice I can give you is read, read, read and don't rely on "YouTube".

You photos are too blurry to really tell, but I believe it may be a counter stamp. You need better, in focus, correctly orientated and cropped pictures of the full obverse and reverse and then close up of any areas you question to get the best advice.

Sounds like a Henning nickel. If it is that will have a nice premium. See if it will stic to a magnet
