edited - fair warning - BST offers are not permitted. It's one thing to joke around, and that may have been the case with this post. With the others it wasn't.
why was this edited????? as far a si remeber i didnt curse or belittle anyone. is it against forum rules to crack jokes now??? Your comment was not edited. It was the comment you quoted made by another member that was edited. And it was done because it contained an offer to sell. That's not permitted here. All of you know that.
yea I was wondering why those were edited too. I dont remember what the comments were word for word, but there was nothing I noticed that should have got them edited
it really is a problem if people dont have a sense of humor and start taking things too seriously. i wonder if someone will edt my cooment if i make an offer to buy the moon.
Hello did someone on here email us ? I received an email from someone about getting some bags of wheat cents and the email bounced back. Let me know thanks. Wes Komka
Ok, I bought a 5,000 count bag of wheaties off BudGood and it came in today. I havent had the chance to do any searching yet but I did look at a sample handfull. Well, I opened the bag and noticed quite a few steel cents and BU wheaties in the mix. Then I took my sample handfull and was very happy to find a 1910S that grades Fine. The 10S was the 6th coin I looked at. Anyhow, I threw it back in the bag and I have to wait till later to split the bag up with my uncle. Oh I shouldnt have seen that 10S, now Im just eager to search the rest of the bag and let everyone know what I find.
I went through about 3,500 wheats today and could not find a 52 or 57. I found a kabillion 52 and 57 D's. I was amazed ! I just need those and the 49 S for my second folder. There are about 20 that I need for the 09-40 folder.
Ok, now I kind of dont want to tell anyone what we found. I was amazed. I just got done searching. Ok some of the highlights a roll of 1909, a roll of 1909VDB, 5 1910S, one 1911S, 20 1911D, 3 1912S, 16 1912D, 27 1913D, 4 1914S, 6 1915S, 12 1921S, 4 1922D, 7 1923S, 4 24S, a roll of 1931D, about two rolls of each of 1931, 1932, 1932D, 1933, 1933D. So yea, wow. And the best parts, one of the 1909VDB was BU full red and flawless, an easy MS65 maybe MS66. Then there was an XF problem free of each 10S, 11S, 12S, 14S, 15S, 21S, 22D, 23S, and 24s. And the rest, well most of them were in great shape with only a few that were worn or culled. But besides the good dates, there was 22 Indian Heads, about a roll of Canadian cents from 1920 to 1950, and a whole **** load of BU full reds. Anywhere from a 1930 to 1958D. The 1930 is an easy MS66 and there was a 1932D that was an easy MS66. I was really really impressed and Im going to figure out what Im selling and buy a few more bags. But I certainly didnt realize just how many 5,000 is. Me and my uncle searched the bag and it took us over 6 hours and my back is killing me now.
It sounds like you had fun - Glad to hear it ! I know there are usually some good coins but wow I didnt think one of my guys would have dumped a whole roll of 1909's in our buckets. Either way Thanks for contacting me & keep searching - I also wanted to point out that the bags do have at least 100 cents over the 5000 in the bag to cover for the few Foreign coins that do slip in.
Naw, I liked finding the Canadian Cents. They were all early dates too. One was a 1926 and thats a key date in the Canadian Small cent series. But what surprised me even more than all those 1909s, there was alot of nice look BU full reds. And those had to be full rolls that got added into the mix. We found partial rolls of 1940, 41, 42, 4444s, 45pds, 46pds....... And alot of the Steel cents were MS. I was surprised that most of the steel cents were in great shape with no rust. All the steel cents Ive usually seen were rusted bad, but the ones in the bag werent. Anyhow, it was a great mix and I had alot of fun. Thank You
Man oh man, budgood, you don't know how tempted I am to sell most of my collection right now, rotfl. Nice job DJP! :thumb: Phoenix
