Ok, I normally order from the US mint when things come out. But either I missed this or there wasn't any??? I am trying to find out if there was a 2016 US Mint Birth set made. I have searched eBay, local shops and shows. I seem to not find ANY, but lots of 2015, 2017, 2018. I do see a SOLD OUT spot on the us mint website, but this has been on there since early 2016. I would assume they made one I just missed it. Any Help would be awesome. Thanks!
If memory serves, it was the American Silver Eagle that was the 'grabber' in this set, and they sold out quickly. I missed the boat too, but for the fact that a lovely friend saved my bacon.......@Heater

The Birth Sets do not contain Eagles (just a Proof Kennedy, 1 ATB Quarter, a Dime, a Nickel, and a Cent).
Also, I found this article about the 2017 Birth Set (which is still available from the US Mint!). Near the bottom it has a table with final sales for prior year Birth Sets. The 2016-which sold out-has the lowest sales figures. Ok Thanks! The low number explains a lot. I went to order this in April and it was gone. I will keep looking for it. I did get the Limited Edition 2016 Silver proof set with the silver eagle. Thank you for the help!
They made them and you missed it. Keep searching. If you have a LCS on your area you can ask them to look for you.
