1937 quarter

    It's pretty wore down, I just curious if it was worth anymore than scrape.

    That's about it, but don't forget it is 90%silver.

    Looks like a 1937-D which normally would be worth a little more than just the silver.
    But it's so worn.

    I think the wear gives it character. This is a borderline lowball, which is a desirable attribute to some collectors.

    Well worn, but I like 1930s Washingtons. Technically not really worth more than the melt value, but fun nonetheless.

    You do have the Red Book, right? Or you can check out your local library for books and magazines on coins. Learn some things about coins and then you'll know what you have.

    Agreed - the 1930s all seem to have heftier rims than later models, or is this just perimeter pareidolia ? :rolleyes:
