Welcome to 2019 folks! Happy New Years and I hope you all do great in all your endeavors this year. Today is my 260th day as a member. Or 8 months and 16 days. During these days, I have learned a significant amount of knowledge that has vastly improved me and my collection. I also hoped that I have usefully contributed to this forum as much as my knowledge allows. Thank you to all members here. Many of you have gone above and beyond to help me, other members, and the hobby itself. I am so glad I have joined here and I don't plan on leaving anytime. Again, thank you for your help, have a great 2019 and happy collecting!

Happy New Year @CoinBlazer.... This old fellow has been a rabid coin hobbyist almost fifty years. But I fully acknowledge that I have learned more that makes me a much more savvy buyer and increases my joy of the hobby in the year I have participated here at CT. Wish I would have had this resource when I was a young man..... But then again, if I did I would be living in a ramshackle trailer house stacked full of coins!

Happy New year to you as well! Get as many other young people in to the hobby with you as you can! We need the same spark you have to wear off on other young people. It's how the hobby will continue to grow!

Just make sure you pay attention in your classes instead of checking CT. ;)

    Happy New Year!
I have learned a lot from from this forum. Mostly by sitting back and listening to what people with more knowledge than I have, post on the various subjects. Both in their answers, and in the links provided for further study. As my knowledge seems very limited to many on here, I mostly just listen. Although I'm not above throwing in my thoughts on life in general, or a stab at humor now and then. Thru your expertise and the links to further reading, I have had an enjoyable learning experience.

I can't believe it, but just checked. I'm approaching 2 years. Seems like just months. Cripes!

New Years Resolution as always: Try to make it to next year.

Great attitude and thoughts, @CoinBlazer. Happy New Year to you and to all the good folks here in CT.

Someone mentioned the number of folks they have on “Ignore” recently. I just checked and found five. I’m going to cancel the ignore on all five and start the new year with an open mind. Some of these folks may not even be around. I’ve canceled ignore on others in the past and learned some good things from them.

How about we all try to be the CT member in 2019 that no one wants to ignore?

Great thought Steve....Although it seems it is exceedingly easy to ignore me in most cases........

Excellent @CoinBlazer, & back at you!

Fabulous responses also, & considering we're only 11 hrs into the new year @ this moment, it's interesting to see how many are on CT already!!!:happy::happy:

I agree with you post. I have been on here at least a year, I think. I have acquired valuable knowledge during that time. I have fun trying to guess what the answers are going to be when someone thinks they have a valuable coin, and I've gotten pretty good at it most of the time. Thanks to all you gals and guys.

Dang, I've only got 7 years or so (seems like 1) and I just checked my ignore list and found only Teachmind... @CoinBlazer believe it or not, getting an education won't hurt you no matter what you do. I have enjoyed your presence here...it has been a present :)
