Can someone help??????¿

    Was wondering if anyone might know this coin,it has a head on both sides. I appreciate the help. Thank you.

    I took it to a jeweler to make sure it was silver and he said yes old silver. But no one in my area has any idea of what it is.

    I can't comment regarding authenticity (although some more decent photos would be helpful), but perhaps google denarius with 2 busts and see if you can find a similar design.

    How did the jeweler determine it was silver?

    That I don't know he put something on it and told me I was trying to keep my 19mnth old from running everywhere,lol....

    I dont know if this is fake or no but I know
    silver is for one this tiny coin maybe 5€ then he make couple fake coin at home and he can sell for 50€ or more depende what kind person got to screwed him.

    The coin has the appearance of a cast and both sides are from the same "die" (mold, in this case). I think it's a modern creation... a jeweler's copy.

    I played around with overlaying the two. There are minor differences but nothing which can't be accounted for with casting.

    I was going to say that if 2 sided, both sides had same legend and bust of Elagabalus.

    Its a cast modern piece. It looks like it was cast using the same obverse host for both sides.

    Thank you everyone and yes I believe it's a fake also that's why I wanted everyone else's opinion.
