Hello, I Enharited my grandpa's coin collection a few years back and I'm still pretty new at this hobby but I'd love to learn more. I'll post some pictures and would love to know what I really have, thank you for any info.
Belated condolences on the passing of your Grampa @PaNT3rA. Happy New Year and welcome to CoinTalk. I think better photographs will help us. Position your coin in correct orientation (head of President to the top of photograph and top of monument pointed to the top of the photograph - That way we won't have to twist our necks to see the coin well) Use sufficient lighting Get the clearest shot of your coins Crop out all the extra area around the coin in your photo Thanks!
Thanks everyone. I'm doing my best to try to sort all these coins out.. If any expert don't mind me bugging them with pics in an email or pm after I've done some research to help me out when you can, that would be great! Cause I'm lost! Like I have 82 pennies and 83 both weighing 3.1g, are they both worth something? Just newbie stuff.
Welcome again. I have been an active collector for 70 years. Every time I open this forum I learn something. So, don't just look for advice related to what you are currently analyzing, read all the posts related to your total collection interests. You never know what coin you may discard not realizing that it could be more interesting if you were aware of all the variations. Good luck and have furn.
