Hi, Kinda new to these things. I have a 1944 double stamped penny. I was just wondering if anyone can give me any info about this coin. My granfather passed away and left me his coin collection and i have no clue on these coins. The weird thing about the coin is it's kinda blurred but not to bad. if someone writes back to help i will post a pic. ok.

Well, we would need a pic to make a determination. (The phrase "double stamped" has been used to describe many very different things.)

Welcome to the forum, and the only way to have any idea about the coin is with a picture.
Try to make it as clear as possible.

Looks like it may be a winner to me.
Ask Mike Diamond for a surefire decision.
    Good luck.

For one thing I'd like to see a little more light on those photos. Nice photos but a little dark. If you really want to find out about that coin, go to www.coppercoins.com. The guy with that web site is a Lincoln Cent expert. Has written two books on just that coin. His web site is dedicated to just that basically. He brags about taking thousands and tthousands of photos of coins. Many are shown on his web site.
