Here is a provincial that I really like, from Caesarea Eusebia. The portraiture here was that made me to buy it, at first glance!
    Titus as Caesar:

Did anybody else find the Arch if Titus a bit disappointing? I saw it for the first time last year and thought it looked over-restored. After reading up on it, it seems it is pretty much a reconstruction from the 19th C. I know virtually everything in "ancient" Rome has been worked over to some extent, but I much preferred the grubby Arches of Septimius Severus and Constantine (both of which have been worked over too, just not as much as Titus). Anyway...

Nice coins, everyone. A humble example, but I never thought I'd land one on my budget: Titus featuring Venus-from-behind. Surely somebody can post a nice one!
