Are you kidding? I'm sure it is all over U Tube by now, complete with videos of how it was found in circulation.

And... "3. If you don't like the coin, don't trash the person." So if you are trashing the guy who thought he had a overstruck that just can't happen or if you are trashing the idea of the coin being possible (by using part of his pics and taking it to a more extreme level (like not even being made in the same 100 or so year time span and not by the same country or mint), then I don't know that it's actually trashing the person. The idea, yea, but not the person.

Let's change the subject to Cheesesteak Sandwiches, then. Or, since this is the Errors forum, Cheesesteak Sandwiches Without Onions. (Perish the thought!)

Or whether shrimp is better grilled with a touch of blackened seasoning, or deep fried in batter. I'm on the grilled side of the fence, while Ladymarcovan is all for fried. Time to go meet her at Michael's Deli. Food comparison pictures forthcoming, if you beg for 'em. ;)

It was a general satire on some of the posts here. You will note that I brought nobody's name into it, though I did deliberately mimic a certain recent series of threads and posts for comedic effect. And the silliest of the mocked posts did happen to be by one person, whose style I emulated.

I'm not that much into Cheesesteak sandwiches, sans onions or not, but Shrimp I can eat. And battered shrimp (tempura style) is very satisfying.

Time to get dressed and go into town for dinner!

Can I have a half a Philly AND some grilled shrimp? Just watch me!

Should I have both a half a Philly AND some grilled shrimp? Maybe not, but I'm not well known for gastronomic restraint, which is why I look like a dirigible.

I took it as a satire of the combination of silly posts as opposed to any certain individual. Most all of us get a little snarky/short from time to time depending on the day/night. For instance, right now I'm dealing with a 3 yr old $1200 computer, and a 1 yr old $1600 computer, both of which are dealing me fits. The older one has some corrupted hard drive so in downloading the files, it has taken 8 hrs so far and I'm at 2%. The 1 year old has taken to coming out of the sleep mode to an unusable screen about 50% of the time. Takes 10-40 minutes to get past it. So...it's tempting to jump on the band wagon. Especially if there is come comic relief. HP Screen 12-27-18 #3.jpg

What do you do for dessert?

Oof. No room for dessert. If I ate so much more as a wafer thin dinner mint, I'd explode, like the diner in that Monty Python sketch (which I'd post a YouTube clip of, but I think it's probably too fake-funny graphic for forum rules).

Yes! And that must be the same way you turned a 19th century coin into a 17th century! :wacky:

That expires as soon as the post slips from the front page. Making parodies a priority could make for some good life lessons.
And I don't think LordM's post could be any more civil or respectful compared to the thoughts that ran through my head and I am sure many others' here. Not to mention we can all use a good laugh after suffering through biting our fingertips into bloody silence!
