heres a neat find but whats on it? flowers?

here is a 1962 canadian with some strange stamping , there is raised imaging of flowers on both sides of cents, what do you think ?

obviously someone took some tools and gouged/filed out that design into the cent.

 

the date side has maples leafs not flowers.

 

DEFDAM - Definitely Damaged

 

On the side with the Queen , there is extreme damage that appears to be intentional gouging.
On the side with the Maple Leaf and the word cent, I do not see anything out of the ordinary and I do not see any " raised imaging of flowers " of any kind, anywhere.

The only thing there that is plant related are the Maple leafs which are supposed to be there.
