Need coin help

    Hi i found this coin in a roll that I was looking through I'm a bit confuse on finding out if it's a error or not it looks like it is not stamped properly and the opposite side it's in perfect condition it weights 2.5g help please thanks

    It's definitely damaged and not a mint error.

    Actually, now that I look at it more it could be a grease filled die. Waiting for other opinions.

    Interesting I never thought about that but that can be something the coin looks In nice condition for it to be worn out but I don't know about this I'm just starting to collect coins and it's been fun so far specially with this one that is a mystery for me

    Interesting.. If it were struck through a Capped Die the letters BERTY in LIBERTY would not be so sharp. I'm leaning to very worn die strike with a lot of compacted grease.
