Not familiar with these but thought I would post to give the knowledge that's accumulated on this site a chance to chime in. Looks like there is an image next to the date but can't figure out what it could be. Anybody out here have experience with these? @paddyman98 @tommyc03 @BooksB4Coins Thanks guys. Will post more pics if warranted! IMG_20181225_224546615_HDR.jpg IMG_20181225_224340325_HDR~2.jpg IMG_20181225_224115616_HDR~2.jpg IMG_20181225_224340325_HDR~2.jpg

    Not a Die Clash

A Die Clash is an image mimicked from the other side of the coin. When there is a missing Blank Planchet in the chamber and the 2 Dies strike each other.

Agreed with Paddy. I don't see anything from the other side that would match up. Might possibly be something was pressed against this side to give this impression.

I'm thinking more likely a light squeeze job. Not a die clash.

Thanks everyone. I was thinking something had caused this and my first thought was a clash not remembering what I had read on these. It makes sense that something would have to be on the reverse as well to be a clash. My thought at the time I think was, the reverse was polished out and they failed to get all of the obverse polished out. Would this be possible? Or not likely?
