Indeed, I was asking for ddo on one of my cents, and turns out he found it to be a Small Date with DDO on it. I still havent grade it yet.
I'm in the #10 camp on this one . http://www.varietyvista.com/11 Franklin Halves/DDR Detail Pages/1960PDDR010.htm Here's why, look at the first " U " in PLURIBUS . Now here's what #10 looks like and it's the only DDR that matches this characteristics .
Here's a better site for Franklin http://www.franklinlover.yolasite.com/doubled-dies-1960.php#1960 DDR-010
To my eye, your coin does not match any of those listed on Variety Vista. It may be a trick of the lighting, but it sure looks like E Pluribus Unum are tripled on your coin. At least, that's what I think I'm seeing. Can you take more pictures of that area for us, with different angles and lighting?
Im glad you caught that. I seen it as well but i wasnt even sure if it was a doubled die to begin with. Let me take some other angles.
The easy way to take images is to visit the variety sites and match your images to their images . Here a coneca #1 I took images of, I tried to match them the best I could to coneca site . http://varietyvista.com/11 Franklin Halves/DDO Detail Pages/1959PDDO001.htm
So does all that add any value to the coin? If it does, maybe I should be looking at my coins a little closer!
