I know this is a bit specialized for the board but I am hoping I run into some one who has additional examples of John II Comnenus SBCV-1943 , while searching the web I found one on Wildwinds but the other examples I found were misattributed , they key for the coin is globus cruciiger in the Emperors left hand versus SBCV-1952 he holds a mappa or akakia.

DOC mentions 3 examples at 30mm

I found 1 example at Wildwinds, other than that no other examples to be found. The issues I saw sold and for sale were incorrect. Interesting enough , even though Sear lists it as common both Sommer and CLBC consider it to be very rare. In fact Sommer has the coin priced higher than any of John’s gold coinage. Also Doc and CLBC have it listed from Constantinople but Sommer puts forward it being minted in Nicosia.

Does anyone have any additional photographs or an example in their collection?
