Meow believes that Meow has found a extremely miniscule Double Die in this 2015d BRP WIN_20181225_12_04_15_Pro.jpg WIN_20181225_12_06_55_Pro.jpg WIN_20181225_12_07_52_Pro.jpg WIN_20181225_12_08_45_Pro.jpg quarter.

physics-fan3.14 You got any more of them.... prooflikes?

I don't see it on this one, but its possible. Go to the Wexler website, he has them all listed. If you can find a match, let us know which one.

Meow is pretty sure there are no documented BRP D mint quarters. So you think the extra blip on the end of the petal is nothing? On other coins that protrusion is not there.

I think this looks more like a small die chip than doubling.

If you think it is doubling, it has to be a double of something. If you look around the devices, there isn't really anything that would make that shape. For example, on the Homestead quarter, the handle of the pump was producing the doubled image. I don't see anything like that on this coin.

I agree with the die chip. It's hard to tell without seeing the whole coin.

Also looks like a very small die chip to me.

Yea, it looks like it might be that. But Meow thinks it a bit too smooth for a die chip, and it does mimic the roundness of the petal. Its really small, not a big deal either way.

There is nothing that says a die chip can't be smooth, That would be determined by how many coins the die struck after being compromised. Doubled dies are spitten images determined by the different class it falls into.
    Read here on Wexlers site.
The different classes of Doubled Die are about a third of the way down.

Please continue after and read about the single squeeze era.
The single squeeze era was supposed to eliminate the Doubled die altogether.
    Still not seeing a DD.
