Surprise! I wanted to thank everyone here for sharing their world error coins. There are some really cool errors out there and I look forward to seeing more and adding to my own collection. As a thank you, I have been collecting the Germany 2002-J 2€ coins that for some reason almost all have a doubled date, mint mark and eagle claws. Anyone who has up until this point posted an error coin will receive one (if they so desire). If there are any leftovers, those will go to anyone who commented but left no photo. They are in various degrees of circulation and also display slightly different doubling, stronger or weaker based on circulation. I paid for these (note they’re still circulating currency here in Europe) and will pay shipping, so you’ll get whatever I pull for you and you’ll have to like it. To receive your coin, please PM me your mailing address. I may not get these out before Christmas and in that case, you’ll likely see them mid January. But hey, free world error coin!
INDIA 2 rupees 1998 major doubled die error. sellers pics... doubling everywhere on this coin (1st photo).
@spirityoda @Pickin and Grinin @lordmarcovan @Jersey magic man @Wal888 @paddyman98 @JCro57 @furryfrog02 @Neal @SlipperySocks @Old Error Guy @coin_nut @Jaelus In case you folks missed this post. I counted 13 of you and I currently have 10 of these DDOs. I'm certain to come across more, but if I don't, it'll be first come, first serve.
Hi, I found these brazilian coins and two of them are doubled (10 cent is doubled on the date in the reverse (the date is upside down and doubled) and five cent is doubled in almost all of the reverse). The third coin is a ten cent that (IMHO) was struck on wrong planchet. Seems like the five cents planchet. The common 10 cent's collor is as on the picture (on left side).
I have these 3 another coins with errors, but I'm not sure if I already posted them or not. First is 10 Prutah 1949 Israel - delamination error Second is 5 Cents 1980 Netherland - die crack on the obverse and reverse plus lamination on the Juliana Koningin's neck (??) Third is 10 Cents 1925 Belgie - doubled die on the center hole and machine doubling on the date (??) and delamination on the base of the left flower(or what else be that).
Here is another world error in my collection. A 2005 Chile 100 Pesos Multi-Struck. The strikes are quite close to each other, making the coin design a bit blurry.
This thread inspired me to look at my world coins. I also found a Brazilian error coin. There is a die clash above his head showing an inverted and backwards date. On the reverse there is strong doubling on the date.
