My first barber dime!

    Today I just got my first ever barber dime from ebay. I dont know if I got ripped off or not, so could you please tell me from the look at the pictures? I paid 2.90 total. ( 1916-S )

    That looks VG-F in my books, so I think you got a good deal, considering the redbook price is $3-$4 for that type of coin. I may be wrong though!

    Looks fine to me. Now, if you can just find an 'S' dime that's exactly 22 years older....

    i would say you did well. i like it and im not a barber fan. very nice condition and a good price for it.
