At shows dealers will often have coins in the red 2x2 storage boxes, with cardboard cards with tabs labeled with the name of the country, or type of coin or whatever. Does anyone commercially make those cards with tabs? Right now I'm cutting down old larger A-Z index card guides and covering up the letter, but I wanted to divide my Lincolns and Jeffersons by year in the boxes, and I'm not looking forward to cutting out a ton of those.
An alternative is to take 2x2 cardboard coin holders and cut off one side about 3/8 inch from the fold. The uncut side fits appropriately in with the remainder of the 2x2s in the 2x2 storage box. The ca. 3/8 inch side is a tab that is flipped up and on which identification can be written. And it folds down when the 2x2 box cover is closed. Using small denomination cardboard 2x2s allows a larger tab.
