Need help identifying this

I found this 1998 penny , can anyone tell me if that is an error in a column ???

I believe others will ask that you put in your
message what you see as the possible error.

 

1998 is a Copper Plated Zinc Cent..
Maybe a few minor Plating Blisters.
Nothing major.

 

Not seeing anything out of the norm by these photos. What do you see that makes you thing there is an error?

Nothing based on these photos. I was looking for possible doubling and clashing but I see none. Sometimes, to a newbie, a well struck coin looks like there is doubling on the insides of the column but it's actually a part of the design that is simply struck up well. Perhaps this is what you might be seeing?

 

As the die wears, the insides of the column tend to fade slowly. So, once you find one that is struck well it appears to be so different you might tend to think it's doubling.

 

yeah i thought it's and error or doubling because i compared it to another penny and it looked different .
