    IMO it's VF-30.
    Too much wear, especially on the obverse.

    I would guess XF-40 with a shot at XF-45.

    Dang, maybe I am starting to get the hang of this. I was thinking "at least AU with that much luster, no higher than XF with that much wear, but maybe it's just a weak strike, some details were weak in the early 20's Walkers, what was it like in the late 20's..."

    Weak strike was common on this date according to PCGS CoinFacts. Oddly enough I picked one up myself today...I bought it thinking VG but I suspect it might be slightly higher.

    My first impression was 50 based on the remaining lustre.

    Me too. But these days, you just never know with PCGS? I'm glad it worked out for him though. There's nothing better, than a coin coming back better than perceived. :greedy:

    Nice indeed, that's, what, triple the value of XF40? Well worth the grading fee!

    Nice. I was at 45 myself . Though not seeing in hand I can’t exactly judge the luster
