    @Multatuli That is a great example, the thing about getting your first Roman gold is that (if you are at all like me) you start looking for the next one pretty much right away.

    This is actually my third Roman gold coin. I already have a Zeno tremissis and a Septimius Severus Aureus. And two other gold fourrées. But the sensation when acquiring the first is exactly this: you start to look and look for the next one!

    Ah! I somehow missed your thread. Wow, congrats on the super first gold piece! Vey nice example, and congrats! It is a wonderful feeling to abscond with this metal! Bits of the core of a supernova! Gold is forever!
