Hi all, I did a 6 hour Metal Detecting trip at a new location.. Pelham Bay Park in the Bronx NYC. I found a new scoop that I want to use next year! It's yellow and rugged!
Here are my finds - 25C - 31 each 10C - 20 each 5C - 6 each 1C - 39 each 1C - Wheats 4 each 2 Misc Tokens 30 Misc Erroded Coins
Oh, man, that's gotta be a Rare Mint Error! Wrong Planchet for sure! It must be, because I know it doesn't weigh as much as a standard quarter.
Don’t forget to fill back in your holes from your new backhoe. Don’t want anybody twisting an ankle or falling in! And good finds!
This is what I would expect a coin on the beach to look like. I am still floored by the immaculate Indian cent you picked up not long ago.
Love the new power shovel. Make sure you can use that in NYC before actually doing so. You wouldn't want to be fined. Another great haul. I think you'll be going back to that location next year.
Paddy have you tried detecting old houses or historical sites? I'm sure you'd turn up more Silver, Wheats, and Indians!
I been trying to get him here in the Deep South. Old homesteads are everywhere around here. I can throw a rock and hit three from my backyard. I think he won’t come though because are stripers are small compared to his.
