Hey guys, I have a really neat story to do with coins that happened to me yesterday. So, I go to the University of Kentucky. Ever since I was a kid, I walk with my eyes focused on the ground so that I could find spare change. When I was young, I’d save the change up and buy a candy bar when I had found enough. It is a habit now and I do it without even realizing it. Anyways, it is finals week and my girlfriends dog needed to be let out to use the restroom so I walked to her place to help her out. On the way back to my apartment, I noticed a quarter sitting in a gravel driveway. I almost never find quarters! So I pick it up and look at the rim and date hoping that it would be silver, but it obviously wasn’t because I’m not that lucky haha! The date was 1966, which is pretty close to silver. I put it in my pocket and continue my walk. About 5 minutes later I see a penny on the ground. By this point I am already having a good day because I usually only find a coin once or twice a week. I pick it up and I couldn’t believe that it was 1965! I thought it was really big coincidence that it was a year earlier than the quarter. I stick the penny in my pocket and finish my walk. Later in the night I go to Kroger to get some groceries and I always go through the self check out. On the floor I see yet another penny! I was thinking to myself how cool it’d be if it was a 1964. You guys wouldn’t believe this, but the date on it was 1967! It blows my mind trying to understand how I can find 3 coins all in the same day with the years 1965, 1966, and 1967. The pennies are actually in surprisingly good shape, especially the1967. I want to believe that it’s a sign that I did well in on my finals, but maybe it’s a huge coincidence? Just thought I’d share this and see if anyone else has ever had anything of this nature happen!
There's a thing about numbers. It has a specific name. I can't remember if it's a science or a fixation.
