if you take another gander at the reverse of coin . Seen is the missing 'U' of 'BUS' of E.PLURIB S UNUM. Even me who just got started doing this knows that this is an error. Besides the missing 'U' also the clad layer is missing.
Someday you’ll look back at these threads and just cringe. Until that time, buy some books if you are interested in more than trying to get rich quick (which will never happen).
That would be nice to strike it rich of f a coin. If that would happen to me that would be great "i guess you could say i would die a jolly rich man. But if i dont get rich some day i would still die a happy man
ok, a step in the right direction. What are your short and long term goals with respect to coin collecting?
Letters an numbers get polished off all the time does not give the coin any value ..if that was the case I'd have seen over 3,000+ different pennies with the United States of America and e pluribus unum that all have those letters polished off or faded I and everyone else here on CT should be rich right plz put the coin in a 2x2 and go buy 4 box's of pennies dime nickle quarters and look at them o/r when your done with that count how many pennies dime nickle quarters you have with a letter missing then look up the dates and how many were produced of that coin and you can see why a missing letter/ worrd does not give a Penny Nickel Dime or quarter added value other than known errors like the word rust instead of trust in some pennies and quarters I am not sure dimes and nickels have that same error am also new at this and I do not see any planchet error now that you have 10k in pennies go back to your coin you put in the 2x2 and see if you think it's still an error and if so then spend 12.00 dallars for shipping 50 bucks for grading and another 12 for return postage for a dime that will be returned in a body bag...... and still only worth 0000.10 cents and for thos on CT who knows how much it is to send in coins I was just guessing at prices And for your info I have gone through 10 boxs of pennies 4 boxs of nickels 1/2 box of quarters an 80 bucks in dimes and still counting I am hooked
