Found this 1974 S with a funky MM. Looked on all the normal sites and found nothing. You all know better than I. So lay it on me.
Look at the rim to the right of the "S" The Mintmark has a 'hit' or contact mark on it, probably from the same event that caused the rim hits.
Filled, damaged and worn. Filled from an over used Die. Damaged as explained above. Worn from circulation.
