1970 S Doubled Die Obverse

    Except for the big scratch behind Lincoln's head, that's a nice obverse on a 1970 S cent. What does the reverse look like?

    I suspect you're wondering about doubling, aren't you?

    The only thing I see going on is in the BER in Liberty. There's a lil' sumpin',sumpin' goin' on there, but I won't swear that it's doubling.
    We need a member with heavier experience to weigh in on this.

    It needs better lighting. Looks like a single light source was used. Do you have a second to help reduce glare?

    Wow, looking at and trying to figure out that stuff at this time of the morning(I've been up all night) is giving me a headache, BUT yes there may very well be something with that BER in Liberty. I followed alurid's link and the BER is listed.
    I didn't look for the ST.

    The question is....is you is or is you ain't....the real deal.
