Appears to be something behind the 8 in date but can't tell for sure!

You have to actually ask the question on what you see for us to give you a answer for it. Because I have no idea but a 1958 wheat that looks in good shape. That's all

 

The B in Liberty looks pregnant.
The E in We looks lower than the W.
The S in Trust has a fat tail.
The T in Liberty has an unbalanced top.
Taken all together what's that spell?
My BEST guess is Liberty is doubled?

or I'm describing my first wife?

Nice luster for a '58! The pic is fuzzy when zoomed in but it looks like the date may be doubled. As for the "8" it looks damaged. Either way a definite keeper for your album.
